WELCOME TO CHEBAGOGO FOUNDATION 

AIDS is responsible for leaving vast numbers of children across Kenya without one or both parents. The majority of these children continue to live in the care of a surviving parent or family member(s) but often have to take on the responsibilty of doing the housework, looking after the siblings and caring for ill or dying parent(s).  And sadly children who have lost one parent to AIDS are often at risk of losing the other parent as well. 

These children often experience many negative changes in their lives and can suffer agonizing physical and emotional neglect. With the stigma associated with AIDS orphans in the community, these children lack the support to satisfy even their most basic needs.  As a result, they often drop out of school due to their inability to pay school fees and tuition and often end up begging in the streets. The struggle for these orphans to survive and become responsible, productive members of the society without external assistance is almost impossible! This is where CHEBAGOGO FOUNDATION comes in.

CHEBAGOGO FOUNDATION is dedicated to providing high quality education, housing, healthcare and eventually career opportunities for these Kenyan orphans.
